The thing I like most about my computer is that it's the color green. That about sums it up for my relationship with technology. Computers and advanced technology have mostly been more of an enemy than a friend to me. I admire those people out there that just seem to get it. They press a few buttons and voila! It's like magic to me. I have yet to be convinced that I will feel the desire to befriend a computer with all of it's fancy gadgets. Except for my friendly green computer which I mostly use for emailing and Facebooking I have to admit. Otherwise things with buttons and wires seem to like to break or shut down when I touch them. Just as I think I am becoming even remotely tech savvy, another new way of doing things is invented. Technology is ever changing in this fast paced world. As a person who is technologically handicapped it becomes frustrating to even try to keep up!
I now attempt to actually make my own blog. With the help of my green computer, let's see how it goes...

arts/ technology rationale
- how does technology affect the arts?
- arts/ technology rationale: Technology has come a long way since the advent of computers and the world wide web. It has made it's way into the art world. Artistic skills that were once done by human hand can now be executed in multiples on the computer within minutes. Artists have not only the option of using the computer as a tool in their personal art making but now also have access to browsing the artwork of other artists for inspiration and knowledge. It can definitely be a benefit and is something we cannot escape. Technology is dominating the world. The arts are inevitably affected by this.
